By

Lasik eye surgery can be wonderful and life-changing experience for most people who has vision problem. This eye correction surgery is one of the most successful procedures but it doesn’t mean that 100% of the Lasik surgery successful.  To improve success level, there is Lasik technology called Wavefront.

Wavefront Lasik utilize 3 dimensional approaches to see and accurately map even a little variations in the surface of the patients eye. A wavefront is a series of waves made by a device that reach a human cornea at the same time. These waves then focus on certain points on the retina and make three dimensional measurements on how your eyes process images when light enters. All of this information generated by the Lasik sensor is converted by software into a set of directions to be carried out by the Lasik excimer laser. Since this measure cornea from many different points, it has more precise measurement and surgeon could use a laser to reshape the cornea properly.

The Wavefront technology is groundbreaking, enables eye correction that could not be performed by standard Lasik procedure. The Wavefront treatment also easily custom to each patient’s requirements so it’s also known as Custom Lasik.

Nowadays, any lasik procedures are almost risk free. I have a few friends enjoy this eye recovering technology. One of my friend now is free from glasses and softlense; she previously use it since she's 10 years old. Before doing Lasik procedures, she was myopic - minus 13. t takes only one day from start until full recovery. She was really glad that she did the surgery.
